When Neidra was 28 years old in the early 1990s, her partner received a stage IV cancer diagnosis. That set of profound experiences provided firsthand knowledge which shaped her future and helped her discover a passion for helping people. Sharing her knowledge earned from her professional training and personal experiences with death, Neidra believes that a Death Café is the perfect safe space to invite her small-town community to come participate in enlightening conversations about death that inevitably lead many people to live their lives more fully. Neidra is the founder and Lead Practitioner of Balance For Life And Death and founder of End Of Life Doulas Of The Triangle. 

Neidra L. Clark started the Hillsborough Death Café in 2018. She isa NEDA Proficient End Of Life/Death Doula, Certified Grief Educator (David Kessler), Grief Peer Mentor, Certified Grief Movement Guide, Advance Care Planning Facilitator, Home Funeral Guide, Ordained Celebrant, and Certified Laughter Yoga Leader. Neidra is the founder and Lead Practitioner of Balance For Life And Death and founder of End Of Life Doulas Of The Triangle.
